With the four in question , this was obviously an extraordinary match . Vs DDP & Chris Kanyon , SmackDown 8/16/01 Whilst this match wasn't long by any means , it was wrestled at a very quick pace with a lot going on . The World Tag Team Titles were on the line , but Edge and Christian were distracted by Lance Storm ,which made them not look too weak in defeat . Overall , this furthered the eventual downfall of the Edge and Christian tag team , as they would lose several big matches around this period . The former WCW men , DDP and Chris Kanyon , would continue their title reign . Vs Lance Storm & Chris Kanyon , Raw 7/30/01 This match kicked off with a pre - match promo from Storm , which was interrupted by Edge and Christian beating the pair down . What followed was a very well wrestled match with some good psychology and decent sequences , although they were given just five minutes to work with . Unfortunately , the crowd couldn't have cared less for this bout , which served as a big detraction , even though the match itself had no major issues from an in - ring standpoint . Vs Lance Storm & Justin Credible , Raw 8/13/01 For a match which lasted around two minutes , the four men involved did all they could to make the most out of the time that was available , with this being wrestled at a fast pace , full of hard - hitting blows , and an invested audience . The finish was a little sloppy , with Cre accidently hitting Storm and costing Dlovore the victory but ...team , the Impact Players , the victory , but aside from that it was a fine match to give Edge and Christian a victory . Vs Brodus Clay & Alberto Del Rio , SmackDown 3/8/11 Edge & Christian worked together for the first time in six years , and it felt as though they hadn't missed a beat as a tandem . They managed to defeat their opponents in a little over five minutes , although that did no favors to the momentum of their heel opponents . It was an okay match for what it was , and it was nice to see the former tag team champions reunite to battle Brodus and Alberto Del Rio .Vs Tazz & Rhyno , SmackDown 7/26/01 Edge and Christian picked up a quick win over Rhyno and Tazz , but within just a few minutes the two teams managed to deliver a strong performance full of fast brawling , impressive throws , and a very creative finish . It was a decent way to close out the quick bout , making it stand out from other matches around that time due to a unique ending Vs Brodus Clay & Alberto Del Rio , Raw 3/28/11 This would be the very last time Edge and Christian teamed up with one another , with them each having a common enemy in Alberto Del Rio . Whilst they wouldn't know this was their last match together at the time , this makes for a significant match in their history because of that . The face team would win the bout , but Del Rio got the last laugh by laying out bo men after the bell . It was a simple en match with Edge and Dol Dio only briefly match , with Edge and Del Rio only briefly touching during the bout . Overall , it was a fine segment to build up to their title clash at WrestleMania , ahead of what was supposed to start a huge push for Del Rio , but would ultimately be Edge's last match for nearly a decade . Vs Lance Storm & Mike Awesome , Invasion 7/27/01 Opening up what was otherwise a very topsy turvy show during the poorly executed Invasion angle , this match was one of the few major highlights , kicking things off with a simple yet enjoyable tag team bout . There was some good tag team wre although things broke down into cha was a little man occasion , and whilst this was a little messy , it made for an enjoyable and varied tag bout . With some more time and a more intense build this could have likely been even better than it was . Vs Chris Jericho & Shelton Benjamin , Raw 3/21/05 Ahead of the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 21 , four of the competitors did battle with one another , which saw Edge and Christian team up once again . With the four involved , this was unsurprisingly a great match . Whilst Christian would pick up the win , it was Benjamin who came out of this match looking great .
